I created The Lampley Reserve in honor of my family’s lineage and heritage. I’ve always been told how rare and rich Lampley sounds, so I decided to transform it into my own special reserve. CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Our Cabernet Sauvignon from the broad California appellation shows quality through careful selection of great vineyard fruit. The nose is pleasing with hints of blackberry, black currant and forest floor. On the palate the wine gives into a structured dance of red fruit a firm body and tannin.
SAUVIGNON BLANC
The grapes for Lampley Sauvignon Blanc come primarily from vineyards located at the base of the Andes foothills in the Curico Valley. Cool nights and warm days lead to refreshing acidity balanced with rich, tropical fruit notes. After hand harvesting, we cold press the grapes and ferment entirely in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit characteristics.
RIESLING
Lampley sources Riesling from both warmer and cooler parts of the Columbia Valley which provides a range of flavors and styles in the Riesling. The warmer sites add more tropical flavors while the cooler sites bring more pear and lemon-lime notes.
DEMI-SEC SPARKLING WINE
The Lampley Demi-sec has bursting tropical aromas of mango, pineapple and papaya, followed by sweet citrus. In addition to the fresh fruit aromas, there is a richness of straight from the oven rhubarb pie. The palate is viscous on entry, with flavors of peach cobbler, pineapple, lemon cream, and just a hint of vanilla. Slightly sweet on entry, with a quenching acidity that is long and lingering.
